Welcome
Welcome to the Midland Area Chamber of Commerce's business advocacy site. The Chamber is actively engaged in legislative matters on a national, state, regional and local basis. As our Program of Work states, our goal is to strengthen the Chamber's role as the non-partisan "voice of business" in matters of legislative affairs and public policy that impact the organization's membership.
To be an effective advocate, we endeavor to provide our membership with the resources needed to participate and make informed decisions. Through various initiatives, the Chamber has positioned itself as a critical voice when it comes to legislation affecting business growth and development. The Chamber offers programs such as "Issues and Answers", annual legislative positions paper, policy statements, a standing committee of dedicated business leaders committed to a pro-business agenda, and maintaining effective communication with elected officials and other key decision-makers.
Now, with the development of this site, the Chamber takes another step by providing our members with an interactive tool to strengthen our grass roots efforts to advocate for business. With this tool, you can be an active participant in this process.
I encourage you to take advantage of our latest venture.......to build an even stronger pro-business advocacy initiative to better serve our membership. Many thanks for your continuing support. Please continue to monitor this site and watch for calls to action from our e-newsletter and other correspondence.
